I’ve been working on losing weight for some time now and it has been quite a challenge. A lot of things have happened unexpected and I’m still adapting myself to some of those things right now. One thing, though, is that the journey has been quite adventurous and it is full of lots of great lessons.
Thinking about my weight loss experience brought some things to light about blogging success, and I’ll be sharing some of them with you below.

Filed in: Make Money Online by RMS on 01-29-12Dot Com Pho Orange County – A Vent A Door Edition
Dot Com Pho Orange County headed back to Irvine Cars and Coffee to check out the new $395,000 Lamborghini Aventador and other hot rides. Afterwards, the crew went to Pho Ba Co to enjoy a nice bowl of Pho on the patio, where the sun was out and the temperature was 81F. A total of ten people made it out to this week’s meetup, where there were two gadgets of the week, a blue ball’s eye view, more new intros, and we found out how the Lamborghini Aventador got its name.

The closing keynote of Affiliate Summit West Las Vegas was delivered by my good friend and enemy (frienemy?) Jeremy Schoemaker of Shoemoney.com. The keynote would be Shoe’s 50th presentation and his last.
I actually recorded the entire presentation and was going to process it with Shoe’s slides, but had to scrap the idea when I found out that recording of any Affiliate Summit sessions were not allowed (this is why the other ASW session videos were removed). Shoe went and got special permission to make the presentation available. He then had a member of his staff processed the video with the slides. That saved me a lot of work.

I met many John Chow dot Com readers while at the 2012 Consumer Electronics Show and Affiliate Summit. It’s always fun to see what kind of impact one can make on people’s lives. One of the things I never get tired of is hearing the success stories from readers of my blog. Normally, it’s a conversation shared between me and the reader. However, I decided to film a few of them this time.

We get a wide variety of people attending, and we would love to connect with you. Follow me on Twitter to find the time and location of the next Dot Com Pho Orange County. Don’t live in the OC? You can look at 2012 as the same old same old, or you can look at it as an opportunity to start fresh. I personally do not believe in making new year’s resolutions because they’re too easy to break. I like to make clearly defined goals and then create a plan to get it. If your goal is to make 2012 your best blogging year, then taking the following actionable steps will help get you there.
